LIFE AT NORTHLAND HEIGHTS
FINE DINING EXPERIENCE
Experience a fine-dining atmosphere three times a day, where you will enjoy freshly prepared meals created by our team of culinary-educated chefs. At each meal, you will be treated to multiple selections from our country-club style menus. We will also feature seasonal menus for your enjoyment.
The Northland Heights recreational experience will promote your physical and mental well-being. There will be a full-time activities director and a free local transportation service for things like shopping, scheduled doctor’s appointments, and social outings. Our recreation team is already working to build a comprehensive calendar of social activities around the clock for your enjoyment. We will have plenty of activities spaces for you to enjoy, including a movie theatre, ice cream parlor, zen room to facilitate mindfulness and multiple outdoor patios.
INNOVATIVE BUILDING DESIGN AND TOP NOTCH SERVICE
Because Northland Heights is being converted from a hotel, our community will have plenty more space than your average assisted living facility. With around 85,000 square feet, we will offer 92 assisted living suites, 18 memory care units and nine independent living apartments on our top floors. Our resort-like, amenity-rich atmosphere will make for a more engaging experience where residents will never run out of activities to participate in. We will promote comfort, safety and well-being while encouraging our residents to be as independent as possible. In an effort to cut down on residents’ medical care stress, we are going to be bringing in licensed therapists and physician groups each week and also be offering mobile x-ray lab services and weekly-scheduled blood draws. We have everything under our roof that you need to age in place.
Located in the North Hills, tucked away just off of McKnight Road, Northland Heights is located right in the heart of all of the shopping and restaurants that the area has to offer. Within five miles of three local Pittsburgh hospitals and just six miles away from the heart of downtown Pittsburgh.
