Our team is here to help you every step of the way.

At Northland Heights, we’ve put together a team of passionate healthcare professionals with years of experience. We are dedicated to the humanity, dignity and well-being of residents entrusted to our care, and our team acts more as a family than just coworkers.

Administrator

Denise Siuda

Denise Siuda, the Administrator at Northland Heights has been working in healthcare for the past 21 years. She started her career at Canterbury Woods as a chef, before working her way up to Productions Manager and then Operations Manager. In 2013, Denise began working as the Culinary Director at Orchard Heights. Over the past nine years, she has assisted in every department, and you will often hear her saying teamwork makes the dream work! She loves throwing big parties for the residents and their families, and enjoys seeing all of the hard work come together.

Denise is Buffalo native and enjoys going to the theater with her mother and daughter. She also loves camping with her extended family. She is an active member of the American Legion Auxiliary. Now she looks forward to exploring Pittsburgh and discovering all that the city has to offer.

Activities Director

Leigh Ann Hillegas

Leigh Ann Hillegas is the Activities Director at Northland Heights Senior Living. She started working here in the beginning of August and has worked as an activities director for the past 10 years and she has loved every bit of it.

Leigh Ann is originally from Boardman Ohio. She came to Pittsburgh in 1997 and haven’t left since. She graduated from Mercyhurst College in 1995 with her Bachelors in Art Therapy. After that, she worked at Brite Wellness as a creative expression instructor for their brain training program. The program was designed to halt the progression of cognitive decline.

She ended up taking a 13-year hiatus to focus on raising her family. She has four children, two boys and two girls.

Her favorite part of being an activities director is being able to interact with the residents and their families. Whether it be watching a movie, or playing an intense round of bingo, she knows that everyone will leave with a smile on their face.

Sales & Marketing Director

Jill Felton

Jill Felton is the Sales and Marketing Director here at Northland Heights Senior Living.

She grew up in Youngstown Ohio but became a native of Pittsburgh 15+ years ago. She married her high school sweetheart in 2003 and they have three beautiful boys, two crazy dogs, a bearded dragon (lizard) and two hermit crabs. She loves nothing more than to watch her boys play baseball, basketball, and Lacrosse throughout the year. She also enjoys taking her dogs on walks, hiking, fishing, and camping year-round. She also love to vacation in Ocean City every year with her entire family.

Jill has been in senior living for the past 18 years. She has always enjoyed working and caring for seniors. She started her career in senior living when she was in high school as a volunteer and continued to work in senior living as a concierge through her college years.

Jill graduated from Youngstown State University with a degree in Business Administration with a focus in Marketing. She went straight into a Sales and Marketing position with a senior living company whom she was with for 17 years. She truly enjoys meeting with families, friends, seniors, and healthcare professionals. According to her, the best part of her job is helping loved ones navigate through the transition to senior living and being and advocate for all seniors’.

She prides herself on helping all of her contacts whether they choose our community or not – and she always tends to be an advocate for the seniors to ensure they get the best care possible.

She feels truly blessed to have found a career that brings her so much happiness and joy to her life!

Culinary Director

Jamar Carpenter

Jamar Carpenter, the Culinary Director here at Northland Heights Senior Living originally started as a chef before being promoted to culinary director. He was a food service manager for seven years before he came to Northland Heights. He originally started his career in higher education before switching to healthcare in 2020.

His favorite part of working at Northland Heights Senior Living is being able to give the residents a delicious home cooked meal. He loves interacting with them and helping them feel at home. According to Jamar, the best part of his day is going into the dining room and talking with the residents.

At home, he has a four-month-old daughter and he loves spending his days with her. He loves watching her grow and he can’t wait until the day comes when he can teach her to love food too!

Maintenance Director

Antonio Weir

Antonio Weir, Maintenance Director at Northland Heights, started in January 2023 and is excited to be a part of the Hamister Group community. Antonio has been working in maintenance for over 10 years.

He was born and raised in Pittsburg, and it’s where he is raising his own family. He has 5 children, and when he is not at work, he spends time with them. His favorite activity is spending time outdoors.

He cannot wait to see what changes he can help bring to Northland Heights.
